Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
The shadows that she noticed on the lawn inspired her to develop the technique that, in contrast did not portray the chosen object on canvas. If the object is alive or a thing that can be eaten, like fruits and people and other objects, they are transformed into paintings of themselves. Alexa Meade's work is ephemeral however the photograph remains. Both the painting and photographic techniques are so tightly coordinated and result in nothing but a two-dimensional flat space that achieves trompe-l'oeil. In this, the third dimension is discernible only within certain places that are close to the eyes, or near hair. At times, Meade integrates her painted models into the three-dimensional world around them, allowing them to interact within the self-created universe. The lines between performance, photography, installation and painting are thus dissolved.
