Annie Murphy is the name of Anne Frances Murphy who was born 19th December, 1986. She hails from Canada and has a job as a producer in the Hollywood film industry, where she performed on numerous projects. She was best known as Alexis Rose on the CBC television sitcom, Schitt's Creek which began in 2015. It was cancelled in 2020. The performance was highly praised by critics as well as she received the Primetime Emmy Award. She was born in Ontario, a province in Canada. Her parents taught at both schools. Elmwood School, Ottawa is where she first began her involvement in theatre productions. Later, she was accepted into Concordia University, where her diploma was in theatre performance. She then took lessons at the Canadian Film Centre Actor's Conservatory and was able to learn about acting. Later she moved to Los Angeles at the age of 22 and began acting as a profession. Annie Murphy made her acting debut in 2007 with the crime thriller TV movie Lethal Obsession. She continued to play small roles, as well on the side as an actor. Story of Jen, released in 2008, Lick in 2010, along with A Windigo Tale were all successful. In addition, she was a part of Canadian television shows such as Good God' aired in 2012 Rookie Blue which was aired in the same year. She seems to be able to take on several acting roles.
