LeBron Raymone James Sr. (born December 30, 1984) was an American professional basketball player who plays for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). James is known by the name of King James and is considered to be one of the greatest basketball players of all time. James holds 4 NBA championships. Four NBA MVPs. Four NBA Finals MVPs. Three All-Star MVPs. And two Olympic gold medals. James has the world record of the most number of points scored in the post-season, second best all-time score, and the 7th most career assists. James has 18 NBA All-Stars, 18 All NBA Teams and Five NBA All-Defensive First Team selections. As a total, James has played in more than 10 NBA Finals, the third-most of all time. This includes eight straight between 2011 and 2018. James has been selected for an NBA 75th Anniversary Team and became the NBA's first player to have scored 10,000+ points, rebounds, and assists in his career in 2022. James was a basketball player in St. Vincent St. Mary High school in Akron in Ohio. The school was recognized by media across the nation as the future NBA super star. He was a prep-to pro and was the first choice by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Draft in 2003. The 2004 NBA Rookie of the Year he soon established himself as one of the best league players, winning an NBA MVP award in both 2009 and 2010. James, who was unable to win the championship in Cleveland in 2010, left as a free agent and signed with in the Miami Heat. This was disclosed in The Decision. It is one of the most controversial decisions made by a sports free-agent in time.
